Executive Summary: A new manufacturing unit is being set up in Guwahati, Assam, to expand production capacity of towers and poles to 2,30,000 tonnes per annum and pipes and fittings to 48,000 tonnes per annum. The project, estimated at Rs.700 million, is in its final commissioning phase as of February 2017 and is expected to be operational by March 2017.
Rs.12320 Million New Integrated Terminal Building Coming at LGBI Airport, Guwahati
Executive Summary: The central PSU planning to take up construction of new integrated terminal building at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati. The proposed Integrated Terminal Building will have 64 check-in counters, 20 self check-in kiosks, eight immigration counters, eight customs counters, six arrival carousels, 10 escalators, 25 elevators, 16 self-baggage drop counters and 20 aircraft parking bays. To be spread over 90,000 sqm, the building will also be equipped with world-class passenger facilities and will have the capacity to handle 3,100 passengers
