Rs.4476 Million New Sponge Iron Mfg. Unit in Raipur, Chhattishgarh
Executive Summary: A new manufacturing unit is planned in Sarora, Tilda, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to produce 165,000 TPA of sponge iron, 262,500 TPA of MS billets, ferro alloys (2×15 MVA SAF), and a 75 MW captive power plant (15 MW WHRB and 60 MW FBC). Estimated at ₹4,476.2 million, construction is scheduled from April 2026 to October 2027. Environmental clearance is under review.
