Executive Summary: The power Generation Company is planning to take up new Dikhu hydroelectric project at Tamlu in Longleng and Wakching in Mon, Nagaland. The scheme utilizes the available river flow at proposed dam site about 380 m downstream of the confluence of Dikhu and Yangnyu rivers and gross head of about 106 m between Dam site and tailrace outfall about 600 m downstream of the confluence of Dikhu River with Yangnyu river to generate 186 MW with a surface powerhouse
