Rs.869 Million Sugar Mfg. Expansion Project in Bagalkot, Karnataka
Executive Summary: A sugar company expand its distillery unit in Karnataka from 150 KLPD to 300 KLPD, and increase power generation from 5 MW/hr to 10 MW. The estimated cost is Rs. 3279.2 million. Environment clearance is in progress since December 2018. The project also involves expanding ethanol capacity from 350 KLPD to 700 KLPD with an investment of Rs. 1690 million (as of November 2021) and sugar production from 2000 TCD to 25000 TCD with an investment of Rs. 869.1 million (as of August 2023). The company has received land allotment from the state Land Allotment Committee.
New Food Processing Project in Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh
