Rs.37000 Million New Block Fabrication Facility in Kochi, Kerala
Executive Summary: A new Block Fabrication Facility is planned at Vallarpadam International Container Transshipment Terminal, Kochi, Kerala, to manufacture steel blocks for shipbuilding and enhance the existing supply chain. The facility will have an annual production capacity of 1,20,000 MT, six times the current 20,000 MT. The project, estimated at Rs. 37,000 million, includes a strategic MoU with a global shipbuilding partner for technology and expertise integration.
Rs.4451 Million New Steel Plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh
Executive Summary: In Barpali, Tamnar, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, a new steel plant project aims to produce 330,000 TPA of sponge iron, 194,040 TPA of hot billets/MS billets, and 186,766 TPA of rolled products. Estimated at Rs. 4451 million, the project includes power generation and a fly ash brick plant. As of July 2024, it awaits environmental clearance from India's Ministry of Environment.
Rs.250 Million MS Ingots Mfg. Unit Expansion Project in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh
Executive Summary: A new MS ingots manufacturing unit is planned in Sansar Pur, Jaswan, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The project involves a capacity of 96,600 TPA for MS ingots and 77,280 TPA for various steel products. Estimated cost: Rs. 488.5 million. Submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with standard Terms of Reference granted as of May 2023.
Rs.7850 Million Ferro Alloy Plant Expansion Project in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh
Executive Summary: A steel company plans to expand its ferro alloy plant in Chhattisgarh from 0.03 MTPA to an integrated steel plant producing 0.224 MTPA of crude steel. The project, costing Rs. 7,850 million, is scheduled for construction from September 2026 to September 2031. Steel Pipes and Tank Mfg. Project in Jaipur, Odisha
Executive Summary: A steel and composite materials manufacturing project is planned in Satakania, near Jaipur, Odisha, to produce SS/MS/lancing pipes (24,000 MTPA), stainless steel tanks (600 MTPA), and GFRP rebars, bend bars, and gratings (1,000 MT/month). The project has obtained consent from state pollution control authorities for establishment.
TMT Bar Billets and Ingots, Rolled Items Mfg. Expansion Project in Solan, Himachal Pradesh
Executive Summary: An expansion project is underway in Baddi, Solan, Himachal Pradesh, to enhance production of MS pipes and tubes by 30,000 tonnes with an investment of Rs. 84.3 million. Earlier, the company had initiated a TMT bar billets and rolled items unit approved in April 2022. The new expansion received State Review Committee approval in September 2025.
Rs.385 Million Steel Plant Expansion Project in Paschim Burdwan, West Bengal
